The park authorities are public authorities that manage the Italian National Parks. Provided by the "framework law on protected natural areas" n. 394, 6 December 1991. Fall within the non-economic public sector institutions as defined by L. No 70, 20 March 1975. The Park Authority has the personality of public law, legal and administrative headquarters in the territory of the park and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment.
Are organs entity: the President, the Executive Council, the executive council, the Board of Auditors, the Community Park (...). The President has the legal representation of the park, coordinates the activities, exercise the functions delegated by the Governing Council adopts interim measures can not be postponed and that it submits to the ratification of the Council at its next session.
The Governing Council comprises the President and twelve members appointed by Decree of the Minister of Environment, after hearing the affected regions, particularly from among persons qualified for the activities relating to nature conservation or between representatives of the Community Park (... ).
