The camping Stella Mare is located in the Lacona area, on the Southern versant of the Island. 8 km from Portoferraio. Once you are in Lacona, go on following the avenue running parallel to the sea and turn left following the indications for the camping. |

At the foot of Capo di Stella directly on the sandy beach of Lacona which is one kilometre long and suitable above all for children, our area offers two picturesque very quiet rocky bays.
In addition to the evocative landscape, we offer you, all the season long, the rent of bicycles and, during the high-season also Animation, beach volley and free windsurfing school, Mini club.
Besides, Lacona offers several diving centers; motorcycles and mopeds may be hired and there are opportunities to try out various water sports.
For people who have a boat, it is possible to have convenient access to the sea and to rent supervised moorings.
In our three star camping you can find a Bar, a restaurant-pizzeria and a grocer’s shop.
The playground is surrounded by a pine wood, near the entry. Pool for children
The blocks of bathroom facilities are three, all of them with modern conveniences

but who don’t want to stay in a tent or in a roulotte.
In the heart of the nature, directly on the sea, with a charming view over the gulf of Lacona.
These houses include a fully equipped kitchen (accessories included), two bedrooms, bathroom and air- conditioning system.
A covered verandah, with a table and garden chairs.
Pets are not admitted.
Sport
Which are the sports available near the Camping?
Lacona is no doubt the best equipped beach of Elba for what the amusements and the water sports are concerned.
It is a really "young and dynamic" beach
Here you can dive, thanks to our Diving Centers perfectly equipped. You can make excursions by sea in order to do snorkeling and admire the wonderful soundings of Capo Stella. Also water-skiing is available and you can rent a canoe so to discover the most secret gorges and reach the small, desert inlets.
Not far from the camping it is possible to ride on horseback, thanks to the well equipped riding centers.
We have a convention with the beautyful Golfclub Acquabona. The Golfclub is a regular 9 holes golf course and can be reached by car in few minutes.
Do not forget the trekking: wonderful walks through the nature of the Mediterranean vegetation are waiting for you. You can choose among some routes of different difficulty and length, starting even from the camping. |
